There are number of means to be slim and fit. The following are some of tips. Remember always- these tips are to be followed according to your age, height, weight, gender, profession, any kind of decease or disorders etc.
1. Routine table:-
First of all, make a routine table w.e.f the time of waking up in the morning till going to sleep at night. The best time to wake up is between 4 to 5 am and to sleep is at 9 to 10 pm. 6 to 7 hours sleep is necessary. The activities for early morning may be walking, running, cycling, exercising, yoga etc. swimming, skipping and playing badminton are the complete exercise games to keep you slim and fit. Remember to be fit is a lifelong process, so frame and follow your routine table accordingly.
2. Water and food:-
Develop healthy food habits. Take a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fibres etc. a balanced diet may consist of green leafy vegetables, whole grains, pulses etc. Also include some fruits in your diet. Avoid fruit juices as they are fibre- free. Avoid junk food and try to consume the fresh produced natural food items. Start your day with about 500 ml to 1 litre of water with half lemon. It is an old saying, ‘Be a king at breakfast, a prince at lunch and a beggar at dinner’. Drink lots of water about 2 to 3 litres a day. Consume fruits rich in water as our body consists of 60 to 70 % of water and much water is required for its circulation and purification.

The best way to be fit and slim is routine yoga and exercise. The physical exercise keeps our body in well built shape by ways of gym, outdoor games or even normal exercises at home. Whereas for internal fitness as of belly, stomach, digestive and respiratory system- the way of yoga be applied. Yoga not only keeps our body fit internally but also releases mental stress and we feel stress free.
4. Life style:-
Set your life style in such a way as it may help to be remaining fit physically. Get enough sleep of above 7 hours. It may be possible that one may not get enough time for other physical activities. develop such habits as during the day work, if one has sitting job then try other techniques as using stairs instead of elevator (lift), be in moving/ walking position instead of sitting in same position for long time. Make habit to help your spouse in different works of home as in kitchen, washing clothes, cleaning house etc.
5. Be with nature:-
To be fit and slim, be with nature. Play outdoor games, walk on green grass, and go for a long morning walk with long breathes of fresh air. Try to use natural things and avoid artificial things as much as possible. Eat natural seasonal fruits, vegetables and pulses. Drink milk of wild animals instead of dairy. The best one is to spend time in kitchen- garden.
